Get ready Jacksonville 6 Winn Dixie stores will be converted to Harvey’s Supermarkets in order to bring additional savings to customers who are shopping on a budget.

Although some stores are being converted Ian McLeod, CEO and president of Southeastern Grocers, states the original Winn-Dixie brand will remain on most other stores that were acquired by the company within the past two years.

In addition to some of the physical makeovers and conversions, Southeastern Grocers will institute price cuts on nearly 3,000 items currently sold at the Harveys Supermarket stores ranging from flour to ice cream among thousands of other products.

There will also be a new Harveys rewards card program and a designated area for items that cost $1 or less.
